This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from thefarmersjuice.com (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

• Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
• When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We use your device information to deliver you relevant ads after you visit our website.

We also use the software Hotjar to learn how people interact on our site. This shows us anonymously where users click on our pages, how they scroll, and what path they take to learn about Farmers Juice.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Shopify to power our online store. We will not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status to third parties for promotional purposes.

We may share your Personal Information with third parties only as required to provide the service you requested. For example, we may disclose information to third party service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as messaging platform providers, mobile carriers, payment processors, delivery or fulfillment partners, or customer support platforms. Any third party we engage to deliver these services is contractually prohibited from using your mobile number, SMS opt-in status, or other mobile opt-in data for their own marketing, advertising, or lead generation activities that are not strictly necessary to provide the contracted service.

We also may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

SMS and Mobile Opt-In Data

We will not share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, SMS consent records, or any other mobile opt-in data with third parties or with our affiliates for marketing, advertising, or lead generation purposes without your explicit, separate consent.

We may share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data only as required to provide the SMS support or transactional messaging service you requested. For example, we may disclose this information to third party service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as messaging platform providers, mobile carriers, payment processors, delivery or fulfillment partners, or customer support platforms. We may disclose your mobile information if required by law or legal process, to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request, or to protect our legal rights or the rights of others. Where permitted, we will notify you of compelled disclosures.

Data retention for mobile opt-in data

We retain records of SMS opt-in and consent (including the consent text shown, timestamp, and method of capture) for as long as necessary to provide the service and for audit, compliance, and fraud prevention purposes. If you request deletion of your mobile number and related opt-in records, we will delete or anonymize them in accordance with applicable law and our Data Retention policy, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.

How to opt out, revoke consent, or request deletion

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out we will immediately add your number to our global suppression list and will not share your mobile number or opt-in status for marketing or advertising. BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
